Amazon’s Business Prime Duo package, which costs $40/ year, is now being offered for free to small business owners that already have an Amazon Prime account. Here’s how to set up an account and how to get the most out of the package
Amazon has announced that Business Prime Duo is now free to Prime members who make purchases for their businesses and sell on Amazon. An Amazon Business customer can connect a business account to a personal account as long as the customer registered for Prime membership using a different email address.
Current Business Prime Duo members will be reimbursed for the remainder of their pre-paid yearly membership, with the refund calculated based on the number of months since their last renewal.

The package provides small business owners with procurement tools like survey and analytics, and business delivery options like consolidated shipping plus business-only pricing on select orders. The package includes unlimited free shipping on millions of eligible items, with no minimum order.

How to sign up
For Prime members who are not Amazon Business customers:
1. Start by creating an Amazon Business account using a different email address than the one associated with their personal Prime accounts.
2. Follow the prompts to verify the business account.
3. Once the account is verified, customers can link their existing Prime memberships to their Amazon Business accounts, and start using Business Prime Duo for free.
