For all those charity sector workers out there, there’s a new sitcom that gets you. Well, sort of. BBC Radio 4’s new sitcom, Do Gooders, starring Frank Skinner and a cast of stand-ups, is here to hilariously validate your inner struggles as a charity sector worker.

Frank Skinner, the legendary comedian known for his quick wit and relatable humour, is diving headfirst into the world of charity fundraising. The show follows the fictional misadventures of the fundraising team at “Alzheimer’s Alliance,” a charity struggling to stay relevant in the ever-evolving landscape of philanthropy.  ‘AA’ is constantly aware that they’re never more than one ‘ice bucket challenge’ away from slipping right down the league tables.

Created by comedian and writer Garrett Millerick, who clearly knows a thing or two about the ups and downs and (cough) absurdities of the non-profit world, Do Gooders is set to be a laugh-out-loud exploration of the frustrations and triumphs of those trying to make a difference.

Who’s in the cast of Do Gooders?

Frank Skinner: The comedy veteran brings his signature charm and sharp observations to the role of a fundraising veteran who’s seen it all.

Garrett Millerick: The show’s creator steps into the shoes of a character navigating the challenges of balancing idealism with the realities of the charity sector.

Ahir Shah: The award-winning comedian adds his unique perspective to the ensemble cast, bringing a fresh voice to the world of fundraising.

Ania Magliano: The rising star of the comedy scene rounds out the cast, promising to deliver her trademark wit and energy to the show.
